  We provide free consultations on domestic and international application and registration procedures and regulations related to patents, utility models, designs, trademarks, copyrights, etc., and general legal problems.

• Domestic/International Applications

  We handle both the filing of domestic/international applications and the registration in respect of intellectual property rights (patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks) before either the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) or all foreign patent offices in cooperation with patent attorneys in each country to ensure legal protection of created products and ideas.

• Opposition and Response

  Filing oppositions or responding to oppositions against established intellectual property rights. Filing oppositions where there are unregistrable grounds for a third party’s intellectual property rights, or responding to oppositions against owner’s rights.

• Trial and Litigation

  Variety of trials related to IP rights and various civil and criminal disputes including IP-related litigation For established rights, invalidation trial, cancellation trial, trial to confirm the scope of rights for confirmation of infringement; appeal against decision of refusal of an application; proceedings to revoke a trial decision rendered by the Korean Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board (IPTAB) before the Patent Court; appeal against a ruling rendered by the Patent Court to the Supreme Court; and proceedings related to the infringement of IP rights and general litigation proceedings before any court.

  Preparation of agreements for the transfer or acquisition of intellectual property rights and agreements for the establishment of licenses (rights of use), and handling of related proceedings before the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO).

• Prior Art Search and Analysis

  Technical search in specific technical field and search for earlier registered trademarks Search for prior art in the relevant technical field prior to filing an application for intellectual property rights, search for earlier registered trademarks, and search for published technology in the specific technical field; and providing expert opinions
